Why do we celebrate Tradition day?

Every year on November 10th, we commemorate the birth of José Hernández (1834–1886), the author of Martín Fierro, an epic poem considered the cornerstone of Argentine literature.

It tells the story of the gaucho (the Argentine cowboy) and highlights their values, struggles, and way of life.

Nowadays, this festivity is a way to celebrate Argentine identity, especially gaucho heritage, through folk music, dance, food, and community gatherings.

This year, the event will take place at the Room Mate Aitana Hotel, located in the heart of Amsterdam. The hotel offers a spacious event area, perfect for enjoying the day, along with beautiful views of the city.
